swimming, swimming in the swimming pool

For those of you who have know Ian for a long time....you may remember he loves to swim...was a fish when he was younger. Well as his disease has progressed his love for swimming had become more of a fear of not even wanting to get into the water. Brian and I were determined to get him back into the water, we just needed to figure out how. Well, after conversations with different people, we decided to try a life vest. Before camp started a few weeks ago, we hit the JCC...got Ian in the water but he was a little reluctant. Would not let us take our hands off of him. After 2 weeks of camp and a wonderful one-one counselor....Ian is back in the pool...and even asked to swim without help. Check out our fish....
