Choosing how you want to live…and die -- National Hospice and Palliative Care Month

Over the years, I have spoken highly about Gilchrist Kids, all the staff and caregivers did, gave, helped us with along our journey. I am still, and always will be, a HUGE advocate for palliative and hospice care. Knowing ones choices when fighting an illness and no options are left or no cure is an option; then the option of hope is palliative and hospice care. This option gave us more than we realized at the time, I even think more than we realize now. Below is an article written by Cathy Hamel, Gilchrist President.
November is Hospice and Palliative Care Month, and we at Gilchrist--along with hospice and palliative care programs across the country---want to help people understand all that hospice and palliative care offer.
