Last night was a good night, except Ian did not sleep much...hence he has been sleeping on and off this morning already. I have been back by his bedside since around 8am and I would say he has been sleeping for at least 2 of those hours on and off...it is now 10:50. His saturation levels were good over night and they decreased his inhale and exhale levels but have kept his oxygen at 50%. ... ok it is now 12:07...and after doing a few things with him I am going to try again He work up around 11 and has been up...watching TV at the moment and on a spint...so what is a sprint...basically, they have him off of the bi-pap and on a regular oxygen mask....they are going to do that for an hour at most and then if he does well, they will do it again this afternoon, and perhaps get him sitting in his wheel chair while he is getting his second sprint. He is on his last day of antibiotics....so hoping his stomach will start to feel better as well they are weening his steroids with the hopes of having him off of that on Wednesday. His chest x-ray from this morning was the best they have seen it since he has been admitted.

So the goal for today....sprints and seeing how he does....Becca is hanging with some friends, my parents and her cousins...thank you to all for everything as we continue to get better and work our way home.
